Other substrates
We also have other varieties of exotic substrates shipped from China, such as Lion's mane, oyster, reishi, maitake and shimeji etc. Here we strongly recommend lion's mane and oyster substrates.
Lion's mane, with the Latin name Hericium erinaceus, is a famous fungus that are both for food and traditional Chinese medicine. Thanks to the artificial substrate, the consumers have more oppitunities to try them. They are very good culinary material and are said have many benefits for human healthy. The better news is that with our ready substrate, it is very easy to grow this kind of mushroom. Sometimes you just leave them there in the growing room, and two weeks later you will have mushrooms harvested without paying attention to them. So if you are interested in exotic mushroom's growing or want to try this rare fungus, now it is a good chance. The averagely yield is 400 gram from one substrate in two flushes.
Oyster, the mushroom with big "leaf", is a common mushroom now in Europe. But the oyster grown from our substrate is a little different from the most common one. Due to the different strain we have used, ours has better shape and darker color, which are quite popular in some particular countries, expecially to some high-end markets. The same as lion's mane, it is easy to grow this kind of mushroom. If you happened to have some spare space in your growing room, warehouse or basement, congratulations, you could start you small production for this tasty mushroom, and you could harvest about 500 gram from one substrate in two flushes.
